TOP 10 FALL/WINTER FASHION TRENDS 2011/2012

1. Black on Black- “All black everything” is a hot fashion trend this season that allows you to unite different shades of black together showcased here by Kenneth Cole and theurbangent.com.

2. Varsity Cardigans- these slimmer cardigans offer a bit of prep and goes well with a great pair of jeans or khakis. ( D&G)

3. Horizontal strips-horizontal strips have been around for quite awhile but are this Fall’s new fashion trend paired with modern knit sweaters. ( Top to bottom: D&G and Gant by Michael Bastian)

4. Blue steel face (watch)- the blue face watch adds a bit of pop to every wardrobe piece. ( From top to bottom: Omega & ESQ Movado)

5. Double breast suit/jacket- The return of this 70’s staple has now been redesigned with a strong shoulder that tapers to a narrow waist.  In most cases, you would want to always go for a 6 button jacket. However, a 4-button jacket typically will look better on you if you are short in stature. You can dress this look down with a simple turtleneck or V-neck t-shirt.
