THE AIR JORDAN XI CONCORD- "HOT ITEM OF THE WEEK"

Air Jordan Retro XI Concord: On December 23rd, 2011 the retro release of the XI Concord Edition hit stores to incredible fanfare. Websites like Nike.com reportedly crashed within minutes of the online midnight release. Stores saw individuals waiting in line outside stores for hours and even up to a day to get their hands on a pair and many people were arrested and pepper-sprayed due to unruly behavior in the waiting crowds.

AIR JORDAN XI CONCORD- $180.00

The original Air Jordan XI model was designed by Tinker Hatfield while Michael Jordan was still pursuing a career in baseball. Hatfield designed the shoe in hopes that Jordan would eventually wear it if he returned to the NBA. Jordan wore the Air Jordan XI model to help the Chicago Bulls claim the 1995-1996 NBA championship. The shoes received more media exposure when Michael Jordan wore the Air Jordan XI model in the 1996 Warner Bros. animated movie "Space Jam".

"HOT" FALL FASHION TREND- NORDIC SWEATERS/CARDIGANS

This hot fall fashion trend for both men and women has a very interesting history. Originally, Nordic sweaters only came in black or white which were the natural colors of sheep’s wool. Soon some Nordic people began combining the black and white, and started making v-shaped patterns called ‘lice’. This v-shape stitch helped make their Nordic sweaters warmer. Eventually,  knitters began experimenting with patterns, but only on the very top of the sweater because Nordic people tucked their Nordic sweaters far down into baggy pants. Apart from the usual round neck pullover type, Nordic sweaters also come in cardigan style, buttoned, zipped, mock necked, collared, or hooded.

CHRIS BROWN- "BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE"

You can say what you want about Chris Brown but you can't deny the fact that he is talented. This song was one of my favorite songs of 2011. I absolutely love the rawness of this video. (C) 2011 JIVE Records, a unit of Sony Music Entertainment
